Our #Bootsie origin story...

That first #Bootsie was taken at Little Sea in Studland, the moment Andrea said, “What if we took a #Bootsie instead of a selfie?”
Two pairs of boots, one quiet pond, and a feeling that something much bigger than us had just arrived.
We walked the length of Knoll Beach, boots in the sand and minds on fire.
Tags, laces, artwork, tattoos, a movement that could help make the world kinder, the more we walked, the more #Bootsie grew in our heads and hearts.

At the café on Knoll Beach, Andrea opened her Christmas present notebook, and together we started pouring it all out.
Names, sketches, wild ideas, and big feelings hit the page.
It felt less like “making something up” and more like catching something that wanted to exist.
Rowing is how we found each other, and how we keep ourselves steady, body and mind.
Out in an offshore double from Knoll Beach, Andrea looked back and we both knew... the same strength and joy we find in the boat is what we want #Bootsie to carry for others.

On the coastal path above Old Harry Rocks, every step came with another idea.
A stone, a view, a turn in the path, the Bootsie movement kept unfolding as we walked, one small thought and one small step at a time.
One truly magical night that weekend we knelt together on Knoll Beach under a supermoon, holding hands with Orion above us and the sea in front of us. We had no idea what was coming, only that something about that night felt bigger than us, as if the universe was quietly softening the ground for the little #Bootsie idea that was about to arrive...
